Myrtle Summers
I Loved the Grass, the cold breeze and warm sun.
One of My Candid Shots from early times, Some Might call it too sleezy, others might exclaim ooh, to Me its just a memoire.
Ahhh...
Sea oats are a part of the beach scape here in the Carolinas and make it feel more real

Lafangey Parindey :)
Shot at approx 5 PM from shastri bridge.
One of the few lucky shots before I gave my Cam for Repair.
On closer Examination, Black Spot can be noticed in Tree Shadow.
Had to Compose this way so that the dust spot does not spoil the shot, and no processing is needed

And It Rained
here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are
as my memory rests
but never forgets what I lost
wake me up when September ends
summer has come and passed
the innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends
ring out the bells again
like we did when spring began
wake me up when September ends
Another shot from My First US Trip stock.
I had tons of Junk, but I guess that's how you learn.
Trying to Find some worthy shots from the old Stock
PS: Comments and Critique are very highly appreciated, I am a amateur and any tips would be a boon to me.
Shot On the way back from Charleston, and wandering to find TANGER superstore, It started to rain, and My restless Shutter happy hand started Clicking.
Have learned to restrict the urge, but sometimes It pays to be a new kid with a cam :)

Light cube
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Staring from The Dark haven
Looking for the golden stairs
dunno where they'll lead me to,
I just search for a better tomorrow...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love playing with Light(and words) and varied household artifacts.
Somehow they reflect the mood and the state of mind within me...
This is just one of those Shots, Was sitting alone after a wholesome day at work, for a change I had some quality code to do :).
Had just brought back some whole grocery, and the Sugar cubes struck me.
Stacked them up like a child would do, Building castles in the air, Shapes, Patterns, and finally the light.
Clicked some 20+ clicks, none came as perfectly as expected, but this one had a positive feel about it, The leading lines from bottom right to top left, the cubes, lines, texture, highlights melting into the shadow.
Processed partially .
Details:
20 Sugar cubes, 1 torch light,2 White cardboard sheets and a lot of Patience.
Torch Light trial and error from various angles
Formation : 9,6,4,1
Post Processing:
Added Frame, Bevel, Increased Shadow, Contrast, Added Slight Glow and Signature.
Please Critique
Especially on;
1. Composition
2. Over Process, Corrections to improvise
3. distracting Elements
4. What More could have been done
5. Framing and Signature

The Reminder. . .
A Reminder of the night that had been ,
The party that went past,
The Sun that set,
The people that left and
the mess that stands :)

Searching for ME
Was going through one of those days when you look back at your work , and loath what you do for a living, you realize the bargains, the purchases, the emotions , and all sullen things.
Its always a phase , and waiting for mine to be over , but how funny human nature is - it creates security in society to sustain , and gets encased in the very same lock, he creates all the things he needs for life, and then spends his life waiting and saving for all that he's earned, One strives for sweet success, but when it arrives, it no longer bears the taste of a winner.
funnier still, one forgets all these as soon as good times arrive :)

once upon a time in Indore
Shot from My New Apartment , a beutiful nigh sky, my first long exposure shot , came as a surprising HDr to me.
I Loved the variation of Highlights on extreme left to Shadows on extreme right ...
Bring The Freshness to Your Living Room
Took this photograph while back during last monsoon in Columbia, SC.
The fog and change in temperature caught dew drops on my macro filters, and I simply loved the shot.
The drops that remained in the picture , somehow always brings back the smell of wet soil and the freshness of mild rainy breeze.
A perfect picture for my living room

Tired Of Life
It has always been said over n over : " A Picture is worth a thousand words".
Probably for the first time, I feel the power of it.
Those tired eyes , looking for a respite, those droopy mustache telling a tale of the glorious past, the turban and a head held high , depicting the never say die attitude , and a pride for what I am.
A Mixed saga of emotions , the picture literally made tears roll outta my eyes....
In the our age of career and self centric life , we find excuses to be busy, and never give a thought as to what those small talks with the elderlies mean to them , and what pearls o wisdom you might gain from them.
Hats off to Nilesh sir for the masterpiece, and for reminding us of the roots.
I Love photography even more , wish I'd click a single such picture.

Processed and Dramatized
Part of My Dry Spell as a Photographer...
Location: Jogee Bhadak Water Fall near Bekhliya village , 60 Kms From Indore.
Raw saved the day, Lot of processing with shadows , hue and slight saturation uplift.
NYC Skyline
Shot From NYC Cruise, chilling Cold , drizzle and breeze.
A not so perfect day for photography , but RAW came out clean.
There were just two people on the deck when this was shot, Me with my tiny FZ18 and a Pro with an arsenal of lens.
Quite some lessons he gave.
